A Private Alternative to the Ski School Queue
Most visitors staying in Courchevel book through the resort's group ski school, which means fixed schedules and a different instructor every day. Working with me instead, you get one English-speaking guide for the whole stay, a meeting time built around your chalet's breakfast rather than a 9am roll call, and a route chosen the night before once we've checked the overnight snow report together.
I regularly take international guests staying between 1850, 1650 (Moriond) and 1550 (Village) to Combe Saulire and the quieter Moriond runs — sectors that rarely feature in a standard group lesson because they take longer to reach.
What to Expect From the Day
I meet international clients directly at their chalet or hotel reception, so there's no need to find the ski school desk on your first morning. From there we build the itinerary around your level and the current conditions, steering clear of the midday bottlenecks around the main lifts, and finish with a run over the Vanoise massif viewpoints that most first-time visitors never get shown.
Extending the Day: Méribel and Val Thorens
Because Courchevel sits at the western edge of the 3 Valleys, a private day here isn't limited to one resort. If conditions or your interests point elsewhere, we can ski across to Méribel by late morning or push all the way to Val Thorens — I handle the route planning and timing so you're never stuck waiting for a lift you didn't need to take.
