Les Menuires is one of the most family-friendly resorts in the 3 Valleys. The wide sunny plateaus and broad slopes are perfect for children and beginners. I know the best routes for progressing with confidence.

Can we access the other valleys from Les Menuires?

Yes, from the summit of Mont de la Chambre (2850m), you can easily switch to Meribel. The connection with Val Thorens is also very quick via the ridges. It is an excellent starting point to explore the 3 Valleys.

My favourite move in Les Menuires: ride the La Masse gondola before 9am to catch the first cabin without a queue and tackle the 480 m vertical descent on freshly groomed snow. That's where I find the best technical sensations of the day.

For families: I favour the La Croisette plateau and the gentle runs around Reberty 2000, quieter than the Bruyères sector. For confirmed skiers chasing untouched snow, the La Masse sector remains wilder and less crowded than the Saint-Martin face.
